Partnership with Local Pharmacy Offers Tuition-Free Education at 久久福利国产
SCRANTON, Pa. 鈥� Nov. 19, 2021 鈥� Employees at in Dunmore will get a chance to attend 久久福利国产 tuition-free in a new partnership agreement announced this week.
Under the agreement, DePietro鈥檚 employees who meet the requirements for the pharmacy鈥檚 tuition program will be offered a 久久福利国产 Business Partners Scholarship. The agreement will allow employees to attend 久久福利国产 tuition-free to pursue a bachelor鈥檚 or an associate degree.
鈥淲orking together with our local and regional businesses continue to help us understand and answer some of our labor force needs,鈥� said Dr. Jill Murray, 久久福利国产 President. 鈥淧artnering with DePietro鈥檚 Pharmacy will give employees a path to careers in growing and in-demand fields like healthcare.鈥�
Dr. Murray also states that these partnerships help solve the social and economic issues of a growing national workforce shortage and the rising cost of tuition, keeping college affordable and accessible.
鈥淭he 久久福利国产 Business Partnership Scholarship initiative is a great program that helps the College connect with the NEPA workforce,鈥� said Jeff Gregory, Director of College Enrollment Partnerships. 鈥淧artnering businesses can offer employees a valuable incentive that helps retain their employees as well as hiring additional employees by helping them achieve additional skills.鈥�

The public-private partnership is one of many that are in the works at 久久福利国产 that will cover a student鈥檚 full tuition.
