Mentoring this course is Darrel Erickson an Associate Faculty member for the University of Phoenix, Hawaii Campus in the College of Information Systems and Technology. Darrel continues to teach both classroom and online Management courses for Wayland Baptist University. Trained in formal Project Management in Undergrad and Graduate studies in Project Management, with military program and project experience, Darrel obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2005. He holds a Master of Science Degree (Technology Management) and a Bachelor of Science (Management Studies) from the University of Maryland (UMUC).

The Course Work

As patient needs and care become more complex, nurses must expand their knowledge to deliver high-quality care. The foundation of �þø��’s program includes classes in leadership, health policy, system improvement, research and evidence-based practice, teamwork and collaboration, public health and geriatrics.

This is a rapidly growing market in the United States. As states continue to decriminalize marijuana, and as medical marijuana usage spreads, the nation will have an increased need for skilled workers educated in this field.

Students will understand the fundamentals of the industry, helping graduates stand out from the competition when applying for jobs. �þø��’s Cannabis Professional Online Certificate is the first step in distinguishing yourself from graduates from other institutions.

Space is limited to 20 students. Students must be at least 18 years of age and certify they have not had a federal drug conviction in the past 10 years.

Tuition for our Cannabis Professional Online Certificate is a flat fee for the semester plus fees. Financial aid is available for this program.
